About me
Calm, curious and solution-oriented — I enjoy working together to get things right.
I have worked as a software engineer since 2021, initially at Capgemini and, since October 2025, at Nederlandse Gasunie through ilionx. My main focus is billing and contract logic: a domain where small assumptions can have major consequences, so precision and clear domain models are high priorities for me.
At Gasunie, I work in a team building the billing and contract chain for gas transport and storage using Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture. I implement billing features such as draft and adjustment invoices and process events through NServiceBus and Azure Service Bus. I also contribute to the shared architecture framework used as a reference by other teams.
Previously, at Capgemini, I helped build a border-control application for the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (C# APIs and Jenkins/IIS CI/CD) and worked as a front-end developer at UWV, where I also led an Angular 17 upgrade.
I use GitHub Copilot and the Copilot CLI every day to write tests, draft pull request descriptions and perform an initial review before a colleague takes a look. It saves time, but the decisions and responsibility remain mine.
